Who we are
NeLa (Neighbors of Lakewood) is a neighborhood group within Modesto Neighborhoods Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We are a group of Lakewood neighbors that are working together to beautify and enhance our local community. We put on complimentary events, utilize fundraising efforts, provide information/ updates to the Lakewood residents, and are an organizing representation of the neighborhood to our local representatives.
Lakewood is a family-first neighborhood with one of the most fantastic elementary schools, Lakewood Elementary, in Stanislaus County.
